Website chat, in the same inbox as WhatsApp

WYP.chat adds a chat to your website with a single line of code. Visitors write in a bubble in your colours, and your team replies from the shared inbox where WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram and email already arrive. An AI agent can answer while you are away, and visitors who have left get the reply by email.

What a chat changes on your website

A hesitant visitor asks there and then, instead of filling in a form and waiting. You know which page they are on, and they get an answer even when you are busy.

A visitor on the pricing page

The record shows the current page, the visit path and the campaign they came from, so you answer the right question.

What the WYP.chat website chat does

Everything is set in WYP.chat, with no further changes to your website once the line is in. The preview updates live.

In your colours
Colour, logo, title, a welcome message in English, French and Spanish, four quick replies, and different prompts depending on the page.
Opening hours
Your hours across 7 days, an out-of-hours message, and the visitor’s email requested so you can reply later.
Booking
Your Google Calendar, Calendly or Cal.com link opens inside the bubble, from a quick reply or from your message. With Calendly or Cal.com connected, the booking then arrives in the conversation.
Visitor context
Pages viewed, referring site, campaign, language, city and local time. Nothing is sent before their first message.
Reply by email
A visitor who left a few minutes ago gets your reply by email, and their answer comes back into the thread.
Start on WhatsApp
Your choice: the bubble stays in the chat, opens WhatsApp (a QR code on a computer), or offers both. Every open is counted and the conversation arrives with its source.
Buttons and cards
Offer choices, a list or cards with a link button right inside the bubble.
Light and discreet
A script with no dependencies, isolated from your website’s styles, with no cookies and no third-party calls on load: even the font is served by WYP.chat.

Contact form or website chat

A form is still useful for long requests. For a quick question, here is what a chat changes.

An AI agent that answers on your website chat

The WYP.chat AI agent answers frequent questions from your own content, then hands over to the team. The same AI agent also answers on WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram and Telegram.

WYP.chat AI agents, on WhatsApp too →
One choice per channel
“It replies on its own”, “It suggests, you approve” or “Never”. With “It replies on its own”, the “Only when you are closed” box makes it answer outside your opening hours; it is ticked by default on your website chat.
Its sources
Your website pages (up to 400, re-read weekly), your FAQ, your PDF documents and the team’s quick replies. It is instructed never to make things up.
Handing over
When the visitor asks, when the tone turns negative, for a quote or an exact price, or when it is unsure. The team is notified, and the AI agent goes quiet once a person has replied.
Transparency
Every answer is labelled “AI”, and the visitor can always click “Talk to someone”. The EU AI Act (Article 50) requires people to be told they are interacting with an AI.
Included in your plan
20 answers a month on Free, 300 on Solo, 400 on Team, 1,500 on Pro. Beyond that, 2 credits per answer with a subscription or during the trial, 4 without one.

Installing the chat on your website

Allow ten minutes, settings included. All you need is to be able to add a script to your site.

An owner or an admin creates the chat. The widget only works on allowed websites: add the address with and without “www” if your site answers on both.

  1. 1 Create the chat In WYP.chat, open Channels, Add a channel, then the Website chat card. Give it a name, enter your site’s address under Allowed websites, then click Create the chat.
  2. 2 Paste the code Copy the line shown and paste it just before the </body> tag of your website, or add it with your tag manager.
  3. 3 Customise it Open Customise the widget: appearance, welcome, hours and booking, with a live preview.
  4. 4 Turn on the AI agent Optional: open Automation, then AI agents. In What it knows, add your frequently asked questions and your website; in Where it replies, choose its setting for the website chat; then click Try a question.

What website chat does not do yet

So you know what to expect before installing it:

  • No attachments: neither the visitor nor the team can send files in the bubble.
  • No voice or video calls from the bubble.
  • An appointment booked through a Google Calendar link is not confirmed automatically in WYP.chat (with Calendly or Cal.com connected, it is). Direct booking on the team’s available slots is planned.
  • The chat is built for websites, not mobile apps.
  • The “Made by WYP.chat” mention stays visible, except on the Pro plan.
Plan

Website chat is included in every plan

The Free plan covers 50 conversations a month across all channels, plus 20 AI agent answers. Solo (€29 a month excl. VAT) unlocks unlimited conversations. Pro (€199 excl. VAT) removes the “Made by WYP.chat” mention. 14-day trial, no card needed (Solo if you work alone, Pro as a team).

Frequently asked questions

How do I add a chat to my website?

Create the chat in WYP.chat, then paste the line of code shown before the </body> tag of your website. Any site where you can add a script will do; everything else is set in WYP.chat.

Will the chat slow my website down?

The script loads asynchronously, with no dependencies, and displays isolated from your site’s styles. It sets no cookies and contacts no third-party service on load.

What happens when nobody is available?

The chat shows your hours and when you will be back, asks for the visitor’s email, and the AI agent can answer for you, for example with the “Only when you are closed” box ticked. If the visitor has left, your reply goes out by email.

Can the AI agent get things wrong?

It only answers from your content and is instructed never to make things up. When in doubt, for an exact price, or when the visitor asks, it hands over to the team.

Does the AI agent also answer on WhatsApp?

Yes. The same AI agent answers on WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram and Telegram, from the same sources. The workspace owner switches it on for those channels, where it starts on “It suggests, you approve”: a team member reviews and sends in one click. You can then move it to “It replies on its own”.

What visitor data is kept?

Nothing before their first message. After that: pages viewed (without parameters), referring site, campaign, language, country and city, with no IP address. Mention the chat in your privacy policy, which the chat settings can link to.
