Teamwork on WhatsApp Business

In WYP.chat, the whole team replies from the same inbox, each person with their own login: five roles, teams linked to your numbers, conversation assignment, internal notes with mentions and tracked response times. Unlimited users on every plan.

Five roles, permissions checked on every action

Every member has a role. Permissions are checked by the server on every action, not just hidden on screen. Two-factor authentication is required for the owner, admins and supervisors.

Owner
Creates the workspace, manages the subscription and connects numbers. Full access.
Admin
Manages members, teams, templates and settings. Not billing.
Supervisor
Looks after the members of their teams (membership, availability, reassignment) and prepares templates, campaigns and scenarios for an admin to approve.
Member
Replies to conversations on their teams’ numbers.
Viewer
Reads without replying, for a manager or an auditor for example.

Teams linked to your numbers

Create your teams (Sales, Support, Manchester office…) and link each number to one or more of them. Someone with the Member role only sees their teams’ conversations, unless an admin turns on workspace-wide visibility.

Visibility
By team for the Member role; the whole workspace for the owner, admins and viewers.
Supervisor
Sees their teams and members, and only their figures in the dashboards.
Availability
Each team member is available or away; a supervisor can set them as away.

Assign, take over, never reply twice

A conversation can be assigned to a team member or a team, reassigned, or taken in one click (“Assign to me”). Every assignment and status change shows in the thread.

Presence
“Sophie is replying” and “Sophie is also viewing”: you can see who is on the conversation.
Statuses
Open, pending, snoozed, resolved: the inbox sorts itself.
Notifications
New assigned conversation, mention, customer reply: in the browser, on the phone and as an email reminder.

Internal notes and mentions

An internal note is written in the conversation, on a different background, and is never sent to the customer. Mention a colleague with @: they get notified and find the context without forwarded messages.

Quick replies
Personal or shared with the team, inserted with “/” in the reply box.
Labels
To sort conversations and contacts, and filter the inbox.
Contact card
Details, stage, contact notes and history, shared by the whole team.

Response times you can track

Set a first-response target and a resolution target, per team or per number, taking your opening hours into account. Before the deadline, the assigned person is alerted; after it, the team’s managers are notified.

Inbox
A marker flags conversations close to or past the deadline; a filter lists the overdue ones.
Dashboards
Median first-response time and conversations handled per person, compared with the previous period.

The same price for 5, 10 or 20 people

WYP.chat is priced per workspace, not per user: invite the whole team, seasonal staff and cover included, without changing plan. The Free plan includes unlimited users too.

Invitations
By email, with the chosen role; someone who leaves is removed in one click.
Audit log
Sensitive actions (roles, numbers, exports) are logged and cannot be deleted.
