All your channels in one list

Every message lands in the same inbox, with its channel shown: WhatsApp Business, Messenger, Instagram, website chat, email and Telegram. Someone who writes to you on several channels keeps a single record.

See channels and integrations →
WhatsApp on the official API
Your business number is connected to Meta’s API; with coexistence, it also stays in the WhatsApp Business app on your phone.
Last message preview
Each row shows the latest exchange (“You: …”, “Inès: …”), never an internal note.
Previous conversations
The contact panel lists their latest resolved conversations, on every channel you can see.

Find any conversation with filters

Filters and counters update in real time, so everyone sees straight away what is waiting for them.

Filters
My conversations, unassigned, all, by team, by number, by tag and by status.
Four statuses
Open, pending (waiting for the customer), resolved, and snoozed until a date. A new message reopens a resolved conversation.
Search
Across messages and contacts, limited to the conversations you are allowed to see.
Keyboard
J and K to move between conversations, R to reply, E to resolve, A to assign, ⌘K for everything else.

Reply without stepping on each other’s toes

Every conversation has an owner. When a colleague opens it or starts typing, you see it before you send anything.

Roles and teams: teamwork →
Assign or take
To a person or a team, in one click; “Take” for an unassigned conversation.
Presence
“Tom is replying” and “also viewing” prevent double replies.
Internal notes and mentions
On a different background, never sent to the customer; @name notifies your colleague.
Automatic assignment Coming soon
New conversations shared out between the available people in a team.

A complete thread, within WhatsApp’s rules

The thread shows everything that happened with the customer, and the reply box applies Meta’s 24-hour window.

The 24-hour window explained →
Meta statuses
Sent, delivered, read, or failed with a readable reason and “Retry”.
Photos, documents, voice notes
Voice notes play with their waveform and are transcribed when the AI agent is on.
24-hour window
Visible countdown; once it closes, only a Meta-approved template can be sent, with its variables.
Quick replies and interactive messages
Type “/” for a saved reply; buttons, lists and carousels go out in each channel’s own format.

On desktop, on mobile and in Slack

The inbox installs like an app on your phone, with notifications.

The Slack integration →
Installable app
List, thread, reply, camera photos, notes and assignment. On iPhone, notifications need the app to be added to the home screen.
Notifications
New assigned conversation, mention, reply from a customer you follow; email reminder of important unread notifications.
Reply from Slack
One Slack thread per conversation, replies sent to the customer in your name (Team and Pro plans).

WhatsApp Business app or shared inbox?

The free app is enough for one person. As soon as several people share the same number, the difference shows.

Frequently asked questions

What is a WhatsApp shared inbox?

It is a tool where several people read and reply to messages on the same WhatsApp number, each with their own login. The number is connected to Meta’s WhatsApp Business API, which removes the app’s device limit.

How many people can reply with WYP.chat?

As many as you like: users are unlimited on every plan, including the free one.

Can two colleagues reply to the same customer at the same time?

Yes, but each sees the other first: the inbox shows who is viewing the conversation and who is typing, and every conversation has an owner.

Can I keep the WhatsApp Business app on my phone?

Yes. With Meta’s coexistence, the same number works in the app and in WYP.chat, and messages sent from the app appear in the thread.

Does the inbox work on mobile?

Yes, WYP.chat installs like an app on Android and iPhone, with notifications. On iPhone, add it to the home screen to receive them.
