Connect Google Calendar, Meet and Contacts
Connect your Google account to suggest meetings with a Google Meet link, see today’s meetings and import your Google contacts. Each member connects their own account.
Connect your calendar
- Open Settings › My account, Google Calendar and Meet section.
- Click Connect Google Calendar, choose your Google account and accept the access.
- Back in WYP.chat, the section shows “Connected to …” and what you can do: free slots, Google Meet link, and contact import once allowed.
What it changes
- In a conversation, Meeting suggests your free slots and creates the meeting with a Meet link (see Suggest a Google Meet meeting).
- In Dashboard, My day shows today’s meetings, for you only.
Import your Google contacts
- Open Contacts, click Import, then Import from Google Contacts.
- The first time, Google asks for access to your contacts: accept.
- The usual import opens: check the columns and the Permission for offers step, then import. Only contacts with a phone number are brought in.
