Connect Ringover to WYP.chat
To connect Ringover, create an API key in Ringover and paste it in Settings › Workspace and members, Ringover section: WYP.chat checks it and subscribes to your calls itself. Every call (incoming, outgoing, missed, voicemail) then shows up in the customer’s WhatsApp conversation, with its duration, the team member who answered and the number.
Steps
- In Ringover, open Developer › API Keys and click Create an API key. Choose the key’s user.
- Tick Calls (Read and Write) and Users (Read). Turn on Monitoring: WYP.chat then sees the whole team’s calls and everyone calls back from their own number.
- In WYP.chat, open Settings › Workspace and members, Ringover section (or the Ringover card in Settings › Channels, Integrations section). Paste the key in Ringover API key, choose the Region of your Ringover account (Europe or United States), then click Connect Ringover.
- Check the Ringover users list: each user is linked to a team member with the same email address, confirmed in WYP.chat. After a change in Ringover, click Refresh users. If the key lacks the Users (Read) right, a message says so: calls keep arriving.
- In a conversation, the Call back button (phone, top right) rings the device chosen in Ring, then Ringover calls the customer. Only the numbers Ringover marks as usable for calling are used to call back.
- To listen to a recorded call, click Listen on the call line. When Ringover provides the call summary, it arrives as a Call summary internal note, which your AI agent also reads.
